Volunteer Requirements... Does This Sound Like You?
As a volunteer, you'll be part of a Christian ministry dedicated to sharing God's love with the world. And you need to share the same high standards and sense of commitment that our staff has. To qualify, you must be:
- Able to testify that you hold beliefs similar to those held by A2O
- Comfortable working across denominational lines
- Willing to make a definite commitment of time consistent with a specific job description
- Able to demonstrate prior and ongoing commitment to the body of Christ through membership and participation in a local church
- A supporter of organized mission endeavors, having given of time and/or financial resources in support of their purposes
- Willing and able to work as a team player
- Demonstrating a personal commitment to a Christian lifestyle (in contrast to world values) as attested to by other Christians

Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Administrative tasks include managing schedule, calendar, phone and email; submitting and tracking internal requests; coordinating hiring activities and schedules; coordinating meetings and group events; proofreading documents; and participating in key projects.
- Assist in preparation of sales presentations using MS PowerPoint, general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, plans, etc. Also responsible for generating weekly department status reports.
- Must be an Excel expert. This position will work closely with the finance team as well as the content team.
- Act as liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including senior-level management.
- Handle confidential and non-routine information.
Requirements:
- MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to perform at the highest level without a lot of direction.
- Interest and/or experience in using technology to improve work efficiency.
- Interest and/or experience in interacting with all levels and departments.
- Good writing and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- And last but not least, willing to have fun while working hard!

- Assistant Webservant: Must possess HTML and graphics skills. Able to meet time-sensitive updates. (Need computer/software system) Willing to train the right applicant.
- Graphic Artist: Must possess Adobe PhotoShop and/or Illustrator skills. Willing to train the right applicant.
